Here at Sana Lake Recovery Center, we are committed to serving our community. So, as our world works to face the effects of the current coronavirus pandemic head-on, our facility is also working to help in any way possible. One of the ways in which we strive to help those in need is through our essential worker support efforts, which helps individuals suffering from addiction.
Due to the severe impact of COVID-19, many individuals have not been able to work in public settings for the sake of safely. But, there are those who must continue working in order to help and protect others. These essential workers include first responders, such as law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, and EMTs, as well as grocery store employees.
Offering Support to Essential Workers
We understand that those who are carrying out essential tasks day after day are, undoubtedly, exposed to some of the most difficult health situations. These conditions can certainly add to existing mental and emotional health challenges. They can also even cause these challenges to develop.
Addiction and post-traumatic stress disorder or other mental health disorders may occur in the lives of those who are tirelessly working to help and protect others. But, we aim to offer hope and help to those who are dealing with the effects of COVID-19 while working as an essential employee.
Sana Lake is proud and honored to be able to help through our Essential Workers Support Program. Individuals who have been deemed as essential in meeting the needs of the public throughout this pandemic should have access to resources that will support them during this time. We understand this truth and are dedicated to providing this support.
Essential workers are invited to take advantage of our program as we offer treatment and resources. Whether you are an essential employee battling the effects of PTSD or you are dealing with a substance use disorder, please know that we are here to help! Through our program, we will cover the cost of residential treatment or any of our other programs for essential workers who apply.
Applying for Our Program
If you would like to apply for our Essential Workers Support Program, below is a list of criteria:
- Those who wish to apply must be essential workers, having evidence of said employment.
- Applicants must have a substance use disorder and/or a co-occurring mental health disorder.
- Individuals must agree to all terms and policies of Sana Lake Recovery Center and our Essential Workers Support Program.

Sana Lake Recovery Center reserves the right to extend or decline the extension of our program benefits, based on our policies and the details of our treatment programs. Also, please note that coverage through the program cannot be applied to past treatment.
