About Sana Lake

Our Approach:
Compassion & Care

Here at Sana Lake Recovery, our approach is individually based and member-centric. We pride ourselves on providing a personalized and well-rounded approach to recovery. We will evaluate each member’s needs, determine what program would benefit them the most, and provide them with the tools they need in order to live a healthier, happier life.

Our Purpose

Help people heal from substance use and mental health disorders for life, by giving them and teaching them to use new tools.

They become happy and content in their homes, become productive members of their community, and begin to live healthy and purpose-driven lives.

Our communities become a better place! When our members leave Sana Lake, families are put back together and relationships are rebuilt.

Our Principles

We admitted we only have control over our actions, reactions, and attitudes.

We believe that a power greater than ourselves will provide a good orderly direction for ourselves and our members.

We are responsible for taking the best action for our members but accept the results as they may be.

We move forward in the face of fears. We let go of resentments and forgive others.

We say what we mean and mean what we say.

We go to any length to improve ourselves and the lives of our members.

We are all equal, different yes, but no better than nor less than anyone else inside or outside of our community.

We own the consequences of our actions, reactions, and attitudes.

We make amends to people we have inadvertently harmed.

We take care of ourselves and help our members do so daily – physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

We seek good orderly direction from a power greater than ourselves. We believe service is the essence of spirituality, and the practice of spirituality is selfless, other-centered action in everything we do.

We freely give of ourselves for the benefit of our members and others.

Our Philosophy

Above all, we seek the best quality of life for our members, families, and each other. We nurture, support, guide, and care for them and do not enable them.

Substance use and mental health disorders are a chronic disease, not a choice. Therefore, we use a system of care that delivers a full continuum of individualized, evidence-based care that connects our members with Recovery for Life.

We exemplify our Purpose, Principles and Philosophies in all our affairs. We are not perfect, but we strive to be our best at all times.

We believe in doing well by doing good. Our stakeholders deserve an adequate return on capital so that we can reinvest in helping more people find Recovery for Life.

The Sana Lake Difference

A ROSC is a coordinated network of services and supports that is person-centered and builds on the strengths and resilience of individuals, families, and communities to achieve abstinence and improved health, wellness, and quality of life for those with or at risk of alcohol and drug problems.

All of our psychosocial programming and pharmacological treatments are backed up by existing outcome studies, not just for the treatment of substance use and co-occurring disorders, but for overall health and wellness. Your program will be based on your personal goals. Your accomplishments will be based on your own hard work. You develop the goals; our treatment team will provide the support, guidance, and resources; and together, we will do the work to accomplish those goals.

Personalized treatment plans ensure our members access any or all points in the treatment system, depending on their specific needs and at what point they need to jump in. With the goal of comprehensive, sustainable recovery, our treatment programs include

Our all-encompassing private facilities provide the perfect environment to help our members focus on themselves and what they need in order to find long-term recovery. Our residential program is located on 55 acres of serene property, with a state-of-the-art weight room, yoga, frisbee golf, hiking trails, and more. Our Behavioral Wellness Centers offer a calm, inviting environment for outpatient services. The Recovery Supportive Housing facilities are newly renovated and completely furnished.

Sana Lake Recovery functions on a unique set of principles that are founded on the concept of “Doing Well by Doing Good”. We cultivate an environment of community that empowers each member to feel valued, understood, and encouraged to take a strong role in their personal development, as well as in the development of the program. By doing good, we do well, and when we do well, we can continue to do good.
